Jeff Baij
Jeff Baij is a computer based artist who creates mostly .gif images (although I can’t figure out how to embed any in my blog.. Jeff Baij: 1, me: 0). The source of the majority of the information available about him and his work is his own website and he states there that he has made $65.13 for his art. This proves that to be called an artist does not necessarily require a lucrative business nor substantial publicity. Although I do not see a link throughout his work, moreover do not understand his work, perhaps that suggests that to have a deeper purpose behind each piece is not necessary either. I appreciate that he enjoys the things he creates and do admire the frequency of his online posts, cataloging his work. Nevertheless, he pieces do not move me; in fact, most of them to not provoke any sort of reaction from me at all.
